There are twelve pixls in total, counting Tippi, but three of them are completey optional! Here’s how to find them:

    Pixl: Barry

After completing chapter 3-4, head back to the first chapter, and speak with Barry again (the Pixl hiding behind the bush near the start). Since his life seems without purpose, he’ll join your team to fill the void.

    Pixl: Dashell

The Pixl, Dashell, can be obtained by completing the Pit of 100 Trials.

    Pixl: Piccolo

Objectives:

  • Speak with Merlee in Flopside
  • Meet with Merluvlee in Flipside
  • Visit Bestovius in Chapter 1-1
  • Go see Watchitt in Chapter 1-2
  • Find Merlumina
  • Complete Trade Sequence
  • Pixl Get!

Speak with Merlee in Flopside
Visit Merlee’s House of Charms on Flopside’s second floor and speak with her while behind the counter to be propositioned with a request. It seems Merlee lost her original crystal ball and would like you to track it down. She mentions that Merlee in Flipside knows more, so go there next.

Meet with Merluvlee in Flipside
Meet with Merluvlee, insider the Fortune Shop on FlipSide’s second floor. Speak with her while behind the counter to learn the details of your next objective. It appears Bestovius, from Chapter 1-1 as something called a “Training Machine” that she needs. Let’s go pay him a visit.

Visit Bestovius in Chapter 1-1
Enter Chapter 1-1, via the red door from Flipside’s tower and head to Bestovius’s house at the end of the first section. Turns out, he’s not willing to part with the Training Machine until he recovers an item from Watchitt in Yold Town.

Go see Watchitt in Chapter 1-2
The quickest way to Yold Town is to use the Return Pipe, then re-enter the Chapter 1 door, and select the second chapter. Remember, Watchitt is in the last house of town. Evidently, he can’t stop dreaming about Merlumina, so he’ll give you a piece of paper on which to get her autograph. Now go look for Merlumina at the end of Chapter 1-4.

Find Merlumina in Chapter 1-4
Like before, use the Return Pipe, then re-enter the Chapter 1 door, but select the fourth chapter. Work your way through the level until you reach the Star Block at the end. After a few moments, Merlumina will appear. After a prolonged conversation, she’ll provide you with the Autograph.

Complete Trade Sequence
With the autograph in hand, revisit everyone you met previously, except in reverse, to complete the trade sequence. The order you should meet with them is: Watchitt, Bestovius, then Merluvlee (remember to speak with her and Merlee from behind the counter), who’ll finally give you the crystal ball. Now deliver it to Merlee in Flopside to be awarded with the Random House Key.

Pixl Get!
With the key in hand, you can now open the locked door on Flopside’s first floor. Inside, you’ll find a chest that contains the Pixl, Piccolo. This Pixl’s a bit unusual: when equipped, classic sound effects will sound whenever an action, such as jumping, is performed. However, that’s not all. Piccolo can also play a unique tune, which can unveil hidden secrets as well as cure status ailments.

So you’ve taken down Count Bleck, shoved a boot up Dimentio’s rear, and saved the universe from utter destruction. Now what?

Tiptron
Although Tippit is no longer a part of your world, you can regain the use of her powers by purchasing a near-perfect duplicate of her. Give Francis a visit in Chapter 3-4 after beating the game to discover that he has created a near-perfect clone of Tippi, named Tiptron. You can purchase it from him for a cool 999 coins. While pricey, Tiptron will allow you to use all the same power’s Tippi had!

Haircut
With the world saved, Bleu in Flopside will give Peach a free makeover. But the free haircut is only temporary, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Sammer Guy Tournament

Although the original tournament was cut short, due to the world’s impending destruction, you can now revisit chapter 6-1 and play through the 100 round challenge in its entirety.

The tournament plays out almost exactly like before, it’s the enemies are beefed up significantly. We again suggest using Bowser, and selecting Barry as your Pixl of choice. During the countdown of each battle, hold down to open with a flame attack. It’ll catch most of your foes off-guard, resulting in an instant win. However, some of the trickier opponents will open with a jump attack – if this is the case, immediately cease your fire attack, and quickly use Barry’s shield attack instead. This will stun your foe allowing you to get close enough to launch another fire attack.

You may have to switch up tactics every now and then. Cudge can also be a fantastic offensive weapon.

So what do you gain from this epic battle? A ton of Catch Cards: Admiral Bobbery, Goombella, Koops, Madame Flurrie, Ms. Mowz, Vivian, Yoshi.
