Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door Star Pieces

Remember, if you have trouble finding star pieces you can always pay the fortune teller Merluvlee to point them out with her mystical abilities. To get to her, go down the pipe in front of the Professor’s house in Rogueport and take a left at the bottom.

Head through the archway in the middle of Rogue’s square, there is an unsavory part of town. Head to the left and enter a doorway into a garbage filled room. Search behind the mattress against the wall to find a Star Piece.

In Roquesport’s main square, head to the right. Look behind the wooden boxes in front of the fence to find another Star Piece.

Walk against the brick wall before the wizard’s shop. It has the sun sign over the door. In this back alley you will find a Shyguy who runs a credit card scam. You will also find a character named Darkly who says that he likes dark places. Walk down the ally behind Darkly, jump on the crates and walk to the right behind the house.

Underneath Rogueport on the way to the Thousand Year Door there are some blocks that can be smashed with your hammer to reveal a warp pipe. Travel down the pipe to end up behind a large yellow box with a face on it. Search behind this box to find another Star Piece.

Under Rogueport search behind the column behind Dazzle to find another Star Piece.

In Rogueport take a left out of the Inn and walk to the very left. Walk toward the background on the roof.

At the beginning of petal meadows, hit the tree to the left to knock down a Star Piece.

In the area before Petalburg when Mario takes the warp pipe to the hills in the background, after hitting the blue box with the hammer continue going to the right.

Leave PetalBurg to the right and search the first crop of grass in the next area.

In Hooktail castle after finding the castle key there is a secret area. Hold X while using Koops shell attack in front of the boxes that raise and lower the blue and yellow boxes. Then get on top of these boxes with Mario before releasing Koops. The blue box will take you to a doorway that leads to a star piece…

Bring the blue box back down and do the same thing with the large yellow box, ride it up to find another star piece.

After going through the door in Hooktail’s castle that requires the second castle key there are three gaps. The first two can be crossed by hitting switches. To cross the third, jump out of the window behind Mario and head to the right to find a star piece.

After going through the door in Hooktail’s castle that requires the third castle key, use the elevator block to reach a thin grey ledge. Walk to the left on the ledge, cross the airplane square, and walk onto another gray ledge and head all the way to the right.

Next to the help center in Rogueport there is an alley that Mario can enter by turning sideways. In the lot behind the houses search by the barrels.

After buying Zes T. a new contact lens, enter the door to the left of her house. Directly behind the brick wall in the next area is a star piece.

In the Flower garden area of Roguport to the left of the item shop. Search behind the tall warp pipe.

To the left of the west side shop in Rogueport search against the wall.

After falling down the sewer grate in Rogueport, drop down from the platform and search behind the right side of it.

After falling down the sewer grate in Rogueport, jump to the right across the moving platforms and go through the door. Then search behind the column at the beginning of the next area.

Butt stomp the area behind Zess T’s house by the goomba to find a star piece.

Climb onto the roof to the right of the trouble center and use the stomp to find another star piece.

Travel down the warp pipe in front of the professor’s house and use the butt stomp at the bottom of the steps in front of the moving platform to find another star piece.

Butt stomp a square in front of the Thousand Year Door to flip up a section of the floor.

Butt stomp at the left end of the train platform to flip up a section of the floor.

Behind the warp pipe to the blimp in west Rogueport.

Behind the counter of the juice bar in Glitzville.

In Glitzville behind the bushes on the steps of the Glitz Pit.

Behind the phonebooth on the very left side of town in Glitzville.

On the second floor of the storage room in the Glitz Pit look behind the wooden crates all the way to the right.

In Grubba’s office behind the potted plant you can find a star piece.

Once you have Yoshi, walk over to East Rogueport to the bridge with skulls on it. In the foreground, jump over the gap with Yoshi to reach the other side. Hop up the wooden crates to reach the rooftops and use Yoshi to jump onto the help center’s roof. Look behind the chimney to find a star piece.

Once you have Yoshi, fall down the grate in the center of the West end in Rogueport. Then jump to the left of the underground area and go down the warp pipe. Head to the right in the background.

In the first area of Twilight Town after talking to Gramps, walk to the left of his house and look behind his neighbor’s home to find a star piece.

In the first area of Twilight Town search the clump of grass to the left and in front of the creepy tree to find a star piece.

In the second area of Twilight Town look behind the tree to the right of the graveyard in the foreground to find a star piece.

After Twilight Town, on the right side of the fallen tree, search in the back to find a star piece.

To the right of Twilight Town after the fallen tree. Blow the large fur tree away using Flurrie and search behind the warp pipe.

Behind the front gate of the creepy steeple. There is another star piece.

The second time at the Creepy Steeple after falling through the floor, search in the foreground in between the windows all the way to the right.

Use the boat icon at the dock and sail to the left. Here you will find a star piece behind the barrel.

On the excess express return the Galley Pot to the cook to receive a star piece.

On the excess express search the bedside table of the Ba-bomb family.

On the excess express return the shell earrings to the waitress and she will give you a star piece.

When searching for the station key after first entering the train station at riverside. Search behind the machine part that the key was resting on to find a star piece.
